Kuih Kapit is a type of Chinese festival food in Malaysia. It is made with simple ingredients of eggs, flour, sugar, fresh coconut milk.
It is a hard work and time consuming because you have to facing the heat from charcoal stove, control the fire and have to quickly fold the Kuih Kapit into halves and then again into quarters while it is still hot and pliable.
In old days, house wife and their relatives were making Kuih Kapit together. It shows a co-operation and unity of family. Nowadays life is busy, most people are prefer buying Kuih Kapit instead of make it.
