Dharmikarama Burmese Temple is the first Buddhist temple, which completed in 1805. It is located on and purchased by a devout Buddhist Nonya Bentong for 390 Spanish dollars and donated to the community.
Located on Lorong Burma, this Burmese Temple is the favoured venue for the Songkran festivities – Thailand’s traditional New Year Day, which is celebrated in April. The temple’s serene surroundings feature a Bodhi tree, wishing pond and pagoda.
