If you fancy a wide choice of hawkers food for breakfast, there is nothing like taking a 15-minute brisk walk to Solok Moulmein, Pulau Tikus and in the process work up a big, healthy appetite so that you can try the food available there. This is directly opposite Pulau Tikus Police Station (photo showing the landmark available in our previous article Hokkien Mee and Haircut at Pulau Tikus dated 4th December.
Swee Kong Coffee Shop on the right side of Solok Moulmein. Please note that this Coffee shop is closed on Thursday and some local folks will recommend the Hokkien Mee available here, but you have to go by 8.00 a.m. to make sure you get to eat it. It is usually finished by 9.00 a.m.

Opposite Swee Kong Coffee Shop is 77 Food Yard Restaurant on the left side of Solok Moulmein. This place is open daily with stalls opting for their own rest days. They have numerous hawkers stalls both inside and outside the shop and you will certainly be spoilt for choice.
